Rock n’ Roll goes “Hollywood” when Jeanne Basone judges this match between 1975, 1989 & 1994!

Dueling Decades is back for another battle, and this time it's slightly different than normal! Typically when a judge is selected to be on the show, the guys try to cater something that the judge is known for. This week, Jeanne Basone, otherwise known as "Hollywood" from GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling) grabs the gavel and she's ready to throw down. Except, Hollywood requested that the boys do an episode all about Rock music! What the judge wants, the judge gets! So sit back, relax, throw on your headphones, and take a trip back to 1975, 1989 & 1994! This genre-based episode of Dueling Decades rocks hard, and it goes right down to the wire! Joe Findlay is back this week, and he brings an epic helping of rock in 1975! Marc James is the middle of the Oreo this week, and he's rocking out with his jeans tucked into his Reeboks and bears the best of 1989! After a nail-biting victory, Mancrush grabs his favorite flannel shirt and delivers the best music stylings of 1994!

This duel was lots of fun for everyone involved, and by the end, Hollywood was ready to record another episode! Hold on to your hats, all three of contestants brought some legendary picks! In this episode, you may hear about: one really dirty concert, electroshock therapy, a new way to dodge drug charges, the people at the Grammys are out of touch, a band goes to bat for the fans when no one else would, Joe brings a snack, a poor boy that nobody loves, a band debuts a song about a girl, another band gets nominated for every genre, the Grammys are still clueless, Axl being Axl, the history of Milwaukee, the end of an era, legends reunite in Morocco, an EP debuts at number one, Marc kinda goes on the dark side, the unfortunate loss of a rising star kills a franchise, Elton John scammed his friend, Joe Brings a picture book to the reading circle, Mancrush devises a scheme and gets busted by the club, and why was Hollywood embarrassed in Middle School?

Do you agree with Hollywood's rulings? Play at home and judge for yourself! While you're at it, send your rulings to our Facebook and pick up 20 points on the Dueling Decades Leaderboard!

Brent Hand from the Hysteria 51 Podcast judges this episode of the unexplained between 1977, 1988 & 1995!

For months, Brent Hand of Hysteria 51 fame has been requesting to be a judge on an episode of Dueling Decades. The guys love having him as a contestant so much that they were reluctant to pull the trigger on Brent sitting on the other side of the bench. Well, they finally came to their senses and decided to give Brent a crack at swinging the gavel. And since Hysteria 51 covers all things unexplained, they figured it would probably be most fitting to focus the entire episode around the genre of - The Unexplained! So you may hear about ghosts, missing persons, the occult, demons, aliens, slashers, and whatever else they could fit within the unexplained! Our first contestant this week hails from the great white north, Joe Findlay of Miscast Commentary brought whatever unexplained oddities from 1995 that he could unearth. Mancrush is back, minus his favorite shirt that is. After getting shutout for the first time ever, that shirt ended up becoming a pile of ash! Mancrush is out for blood this week, with the unexplained of 1988. Rounding out the competition, Marc James once again had to dig way back into the 70s to conjure up the unexplained of 1977!

While none of them will ever be Robert Stack, they try their best to be! Brent uses his Hysteria 51 experience to decide which decade takes this unexplained battle royale, and it comes right down to the wire. In this episode, you just may hear about demonic dolls, clairvoyants that couldn't see their own deaths, Mancrush sees a UFO, the best fight scene in cinematic history, Tobe Hooper brings an origin story to syndication, a 32-year-old sealed package is unveiled LIVE, a board game no one will remember, Joe mystifies with some bootleg Harry Potter, vanishing TV anchors, a transmission that will make you go wow, movies that put Mancrush to sleep, a criminal with a limp, classic science fiction, Richard Dreyfuss just can't catch a break, a soundtrack with a lot of yelling, a song that you might not expect is about aliens, and which toy movie fits this episode's narrative better?

Do you agree with Brent's rulings? Play at home and judge for yourself! While you're at it, send your rulings to our Facebook and pick up 20 points on the Dueling Decades Leaderboard!

Immortal Samm Levine passes judgment on us Freaks & Geeks in this duel between September 1978, 1983 & 1998!

The guys are huge fans of the ill-fated cult classic television show, Freaks and Geeks. So when they got the opportunity to speak with Samm Levine about his new movie Immortal, they jumped at the chance! Whether you know Samm from Freaks and Geeks, Inglorious Bastards, or from the Doug Loves Movies podcast, you know he's a funny and knowledgable dude. Perfect celebrity guest judge material and Samm sure didn't disappoint when the gavel was in hand! This time though, the guys are flipping the script, because this is a "worst of" episode of Dueling Decades. So which one of these gents did it worse? First up, Drew Zakmin is back and he's loaded with a turd sandwich from September of 1998! After a big win last week, Mancrush looks to make it two in a row with a fistful of trash from September of 1983. Sit down, relax, and listen to all the hijinx this terrible episode has to offer! Samm Levine was primed and ready to release the kraken on these guys and their offerings. So in this episode you might find out that Samm doesn't want anyone suing the Stranger Things guys, a video game that gets Mr. Levine really upset, Zakmin was exposed to erotic flute playing in Greece as a child, a 445-page dossier about cigar smokers, the drummer that should have been in the Bill and Ted movie, a generational talent mistakingly puts his hands in the wrong man's behind, Blanche gets hitched to Jack Flack, no one cares about Benben, a pompous panther turns into a slithery snake to fight crime, Marc played games with himself, Freaks and Geeks, Kenny Omega vs a grown man who sleeps in a car bed, post-apocalyptic dry cleaners, the Noxzema girl has the strength of twelve men, Smurf snow comes to the cinema, kissing with and without makeup on, Samm stars in the new movie Immortal out on VOD today, and use a freakin coaster!
