Mike Ranger returns to make a ruling on who had the best week between October 1975, 1982, & 1993!

ABOUT THIS EPISODE

Another week, and another retro battle! Mike Ranger hasn't judged an episode in well over a year. Matter of fact, for a stretch in early 2019, Mike Ranger was our dedicated judge. Judge Ranger knows the ropes, and brings his own unique judging style to the table! This is a week experience, so you never can predict what picks could be brought to the table, and this episode is no different. Drew is back in the fold and he had to dig real deep to deliver the best he could find for his week in October 1975. Marc James threw on his leather Member's Only jacket and was ready to rock with the best of the last week of October 1982! Finally, Mancrush completes this week experience challenge with the finest final week of October 1993 he could conjure.

You're in for a treat, Mike Ranger uses his very methodical judging prowess to determine the winner of this stiff matchup! In this episode, you might hear something about a boy who thought he could fly, the weirdest hot product you couldn't even imagine, Mancrush bores Judge Ranger, another unexpected duet, Erik Estrada takes down not Gene Simmons, Marc phones home for a hot product, Sean Maguire went to see about a girl, women's rights, the birth of the candy x-ray, extreme body modifications, Drew goes to bat for spider's rights, never judge a movie by its cover, David Carradine edges out Bruce Willis, a cocaine-fueled album rocks the westies, and Mike Ranger must be delirious to not be a fan of this artist!

Dave Schultz from the Selling Out Show returns to judge this epic "best of" July battle between 1970, 1980, and 1990!  Will Mancrush’s new lucky shirt turn out to be a winner as he competes with July 1970? Or will Marc James’ selections from July 1980 topple the pack? Drew Zakmin of the One Headlight 90’s Podcast drops some knowledge as he defends the best of July 1990!

The Dueling Decades gang tunes into some iconic radio and takes a trip down the highway of forgotten memories in everyone's favorite affordable 90's automobile! Is that an Alanis Morrisette song? We had a most triumphant time with Diane Franklin judging this worst of duel between 1976, 1986 & 1996!

We're joined by a real Princess this week, Diane Franklin joins the show to determine who had a "not so excellent" decade! Diane Franklin, the beautiful Princess Elizabeth from Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, John Cusack's muse in Better off Dead, and everyone's favorite "Karen" in Last American Virgin grabs the gavel and deliberates this "worst of" battle of the decades! Joe Findlay from Miscast Commentary came to battle with the worst of the first week of July 1986! Marc is looking for back to back victories with the most awful first week of July 1976 that he can muster. Mancrush is still looking for his first victory in over a month; so he delivers an inferior first week of July 1996 to get back on the winning path.

Diane Franklin brings some brutal honesty to this episode of Dueling Decades! Aside from her unwavering judgments, she also tells us what her worst movie role ever was, what her favorite role was, the real reason why you watched Second Time Lucky, the worst Independence Day movie imaginable, the difference between east coasters and west coasters, invaders from another planet, the end of journalism, Bo Derek, Cannon Films rules no matter what, toys that are a step above coal, cooking with chemicals, a movie Disney wishes didn't exist, a "regular guy" heads to Hollywood, mysterious albums, don't touch Marc, fake coups, intergalactic failures, the price is wrong Bob, boring BBC shows, John McNamara screws Roger Clemens, filming awkward nude scenes, life after Mental Health, and who was the funniest man on the set of Better Off Dead?

Do you agree with Diane's rulings? Play at home and judge for yourself! While you're at it, send your rulings to our Facebook and pick up 20 points on the Dueling Decades Leaderboard!

RJ City is back for round two of this showdown between the last week of June 1978, 1988 & 1998!

A few weeks back we had professional Wrestler RJ City on the show as guest judge and he dazzled us with his knowledge behind the bench. However, being that the episode was all about wrestling, he felt typecast! In spite of that, we invited him back to judge the "week experience", and he didn't disappoint! Our old friend Beau Becraft is back, and he brought the best of the last week of June 1998 to the party. After a week off from competition, Marc James is back in the fold, and he's got a first-rate week from the end of June 1988. Their final opponent is a man that's been left off the victor's stand for nearly a month, Mancrush looks to finally get off the schneid with the finest he can muster with the last week of June 1978. Will this one be close, or will we see a landslide?

RJ starts the episode off with a special message for our oldest fan, David Moble. Davy boy has been singing our praises for years, and we wanted to share with him how much his loyalty means to us. From there, the competition is as stiff as a lariat from Big Van Vader! In this episode, you might find sexual swing music, the end of prank phone calls, some guy named Coper, sweaty nether regions, Moble's preferred operating system, JLo in a trunk, Hugh Hefner has an auction, Eddie Murphy's extended Universe, potential spoilers from a 1978 classic, an homage to Ben Vereen, hot foreign music, ways to ruin a classic film, immovable rubber toys, men's fashion, smelly math teachers, and how is Beau connected to RJ City's first sexual conquest? All this and more on this episode of Dueling Decades!

Do you agree with RJ's rulings? Play at home and judge for yourself! While you're at it, send your rulings to our Facebook and pick up 20 points on the Dueling Decades Leaderboard! The Dueling Decades' crew stays "Up All Night" w/special guest judge Rhonda Shear in this B-movie battle between 88, 91 & 93!

This episode was extra special to all of us on Dueling Decades because, like many of you, we spent our formative teen years watching Rhonda Shear on USA's UP All Night! Not only was Rhonda amazing, but she also introduced us to a whole new world of movies that we might never have seen. Had it not been for Rhonda and UP All Night, we might've never found the love for B-Movies that we have today! Our parents also thank Rhonda for being a free babysitter on Friday & Saturday nights as we sat there until the wee hours of the morning watching Reform School Girls and Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death, much appreciated! Sit back, relax, and re-live some of the best B-Movies had to offer. Brent Hand from Hysteria 51 is back and brought the very best of B-Movies from 1993, Mancrush delivers with B-Movies of 1991, and Mike Ranger of the Video Rangers completes the competition with B-Movies of 1988!

There is a ton of B-Movie madness in this episode, and lots of Rhonda stories to satisfy! In this episode, you might find stories about monsters, bad wigs, creepy ex-boyfriends, Rhonda's first episode on UP All Night, cannibals playing instruments, schlinging schlongs, B-Movie mockery, slithery tentacles, Cannon Films, the man responsible for the death of the B-Movie industry, stars that should never get naked, killer clowns, top-secret projects by the government, Gilbert Gottfried, zombies, lack of sleep, lingerie, foot fetishes, Mel Brooks is a good guy, destroyed master tapes, killer bimbos, entrepreneurship, all of our listener & Facebook questions for Rhonda answered, and what sitcom star got Rhonda fired and is a mega douche?

Do you agree with Rhonda's rulings? Play at home and judge for yourself! While you're at it, send your rulings to our Facebook and pick up 20 points on the Dueling Decades Leaderboard!
